Hanf-Adler The Hemp Eagle Awards 2024

Hosted by DHV, the Hanf-Adler 2024 awards were presented on Saturday, March 22, at the Cannabis Normal! Conference in Essen, Germany. The event honored outstanding individuals in politics, science, and activism for their significant contributions to cannabis policy and education. Dirk Heidenblut received a Hanf-Adler in the Politics category for his key role in cannabis legislation, especially his transparency and advocacy during the legislative process. Dr. Fabian Steinmetz was recognized in Science for his tireless efforts in substance education and de-stigmatizing drug use. Finally, Weedmob, a collective of activists, was awarded in the Activism category for its impactful work in changing public opinion and holding prohibitionists accountable in the media.

The German Hemp Association (Der Deutsche Hanfverband or DHV) represents the interests of cannabis consumers and legalization supporters. We strive for a legal, consumer-friendly market for the recreational use of cannabis – from production to sale in specialized stores for adults. We aim to end all forms of discrimination and fight for sensible regulations in areas such as driving licenses, possession, consumption, home cultivation, cultivation associations, and medicine.

Die Preise, die im Rahmen der DHV-Hanf-Adler 2024 verliehen wurden, sind Auszeichnungen des Deutschen Hanfverbands (DHV). Sie würdigen herausragende Personen und Organisationen in den Bereichen Politik, Wissenschaft und Aktivismus für ihren Einsatz im Bereich der Cannabis-Legalisierung und -Aufklärung. Die Preise wurden am 22. März in Essen, Deutschland, überreicht.
