Morning Glory

– 1st place at the 2002 High Times Cannabis Cup

Barneys Farm Morning Glory is one of the most popular sativa cannabis strains from the Barney’s Farm’s feminized seed collection. She is a stable cross of Afghan, Moroccan and Santa Maria genotypes and combines all best qualities of these varieties. Morning Glory is a powerful and very potent, with easy growing abilities and a high that sweeps you off your feet – no surprise, she got the 1st place in the 2002 Cannabis Cup.

Vegetating is very easy. Good genetics makes Morning Glory  quite resistant to pests. They arrive and bud almost instantly. Give them just 8 weeks and the first harvest is ready with minimum efforts. It’s a recommended  strain for beginners. Morning Glory’s seedlings are strong and soon turn into small indica dominant plants with rich dark green foliage and well developed flower formations. When fully matured, buds of this cannabis are compact and sturdy. Like any mostly indica cross, Morning Glory doesn’t seem to produce as many bud sites as her sativa counterpartner. But they are all very dense and sticky, full of shiny crystals. THC can be as high as 20%. She is a great yielder, the average harvest is 400 gr per plant, which is fantastic for a medium size plant. She is happy to grow in almost any growing settings and responds well to any growing methods. The ability to produce high yields of quality marijuana makes her wildly used for commercial purposes. Outside harvest starts at the end of September/beginning of October.

Marijuana produced by Morning Glory has a very pleasant, sweet and spicy smell. Her taste tends to turn a bit “purple” like when vaporized. This gives an unusually clear buzz and a slightly delayed effect. She burns quickly and well and produces a smooth and skunky smoke.
