Cannabis Cup 1988 – The 1st Awards. November 1988 – Amsterdam, The Netherlands
1988 – ‘The 1st Official High Times Cannabis Cup’. The first HT Cup ever had only three judges: Cup founder Steve Hager, grow guru Dr Indoors, and a photographer.
Four seed companies entered the competition: Super Sativa Seed Club, Sensi Seed Club, the Seed Bank, and a late entry, ‘Cultivators Choice, ‘ which won the Cup.
In January Hager, Dr. Indoors and the lensman flew over to the Netherlands to announce the winner and present the award.
